Through many years of research and learning the intricate details of the mind body self connection, and the study of yoga, Dr. Scott has developed techniques through breath, movement and cognitive behavioral restructuring that have shown good results. Her interests lie in studying the effects of the left-right brain wave re-balancing technique in pain control working with Dr. Bunker on the SPECT and PET imaging, how it truly effects the pain receptor sites and with Dr. Stemmer on the psychological aspects of pain. If we could learn self mastery over our body experiences could we be in charge of our pain and create a healthy body? Finding that inner peace and homeostasis is what all human beings ultimately crave, weather it is work, relationships or health.
