The Chronic Pain Institute was granted its tax exempt status registered in the state of California (501c 3) on July 15, 1999. We are a non for profit for public benefit corporation. Our ultimate goals are to increase our knowledge on the subject of Chronic Pain and improve the clinical abilities of all Health Care Practitioners. In order to help us achieve these goals we must Potential patients are given the opportunity to register with the Institute under the Patient's Page section of the home page. This gives the Institute a direct link with the general public. Chronic Pain patients with special needs, concerns, or disabilities are also strongly encouraged to register with the Institute.
